How to Setup Outlook 2013

IMAP/POP

This guide will show instructions for setting up Outlook 2013 for IMAP/POP in Windows.

  1. Click File and choose Info
  2. Click Add Acount
  3. Click Manual setup or additional server types
  4. Click Next
  5. Click Pop or IMAP
  6. Click Next

In Account settings:

  1. Your Name - (insert your name)
  2. Email Address - (insert your email address)
  3. Account Type - IMAP
  4. Incoming mail server - mail.(yourdomain)
  5. Outgoing mail server - mail.(yourdomain)
  6. Username - (insert your email address)
  7. Password - (insert your password)
  8. Click remember password if you want to have the computer save it
  9. Select "Require logon using Secure Password Authentication"
  10. Click "More Settings"
  11. Select the Outgoing Server tab
  12. Make sure the "Use same settings as my incoming mail server" is selected
  13. Select the Advanced tab
  14. Incoming server(IMAP) port should be - 143
  15. Outgoing server (SMTP) port should be - 587
  16. Click OK
  17. Click Finish

Exchange on 4web.host

  1. Click File and choose Info
  2. Click Add Acount
  3. Enter in your exchange email address and password
  4. If the DNS records have been updated with Auto-Discover this will complete automatically
  5. Click Next then Finish.
